bio DUANE SAWYER has been an OpenStage Company Member since 1992 and has performed in numerous productions with the Theatre, appearing most recently in Saint Joan, The Solid Gold Cadillac, The Play's the Thing and Laughter on the 23rd Floor, for which he received the OpenStage OPUS for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. He also has appeared with The Acting Company in Loveland in The Compleat Works of Wm. Shakespeare (Abridged) and Fools and as Felix in The Odd Couple, among others. Duane has designed and illustrated numerous posters for OpenStage Theatre, most recent for Little Shop of Horrors, Noises Off, Picnic, The Solid Gold Cadillac, The Play's the Thing and Flaming Guns of the Purple Sage. Duane made his directorial debut with openstage etc's production of The Shape of Things and directed the world premier of openstage etc's production of The Harvey Project last season. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Graphic Design and devotes his time when off-stage to being a professional artist and owner of Eon Studio, Inc., a screen-printing and design firm. |
