An artistic endeavor of OpenStage Theatre & Company, openstage etc
began producing theatre in 1999. openstage etc is dedicated to
developing emerging, experimental and challenging work, increasing
opportunities for theatre audiences and artists, and providing an
environment for theatre artists to develop their craft. openstage etc's
ideal is to produce theatre that entertains, involves and expands our
audience while exploring new artistic territory. OpenStage Theatre,
openstage etc's parent company, was founded in 1973 and received the
1997 Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts, was recognized by the
Colorado Legislature and the City of Fort Collins, and received the
Colorado Community Theatre Coalition's Distinguished Merit Award.
