KARI ARMSTRONG has been involved with design in one form or another for most of her life. As an artist/illustrator/graphic designer/seamstress (and recent novice puppet maker), costume arts have become a culmination of many artsy directions. Her costume design credits in Fort Collins include OpenStage Theatre productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, Moonlight and Magnolias and Servant of Two Masters. Kari has designed and assisted with costumes in various productions around Fort Collins including The Love of the Nightingale, I Claudia and The Snow Queen at Bas Bleu Theatre. Kari’s enthusiasm for costume is mainly derived from her para position as costume director for Poudre High School Theatre. She is proud of the hard-working and talented students who contributed in the making of these whimsical Avenue Q puppets.
