L. MICHAEL SCOVEL has been acting for 46 years, having played nearly 70 different roles. Locally he has performed with OpenStage Theatre, Bas Bleu Theatre, Fort Collins Children’s Theatre, Opera Fort Collins, and Canyon Concert Ballet among others. Lenny was last seen in OpenStage etcetera’s production of The Mystery of Love and Sex. Past notable roles include Willy Wonka, Rasputin, George Banks (Mary Poppins) and Roy (Looking For Normal). When not on-stage he can often be found either out on his road bike, or in his gaming vault playing strategy games. He is a professional woodworker by trade. Lenny is also a certified Life-Cycle® Celebrant, creating and officiating life’s significant rites of passage.
