ANDREW STRIDER is no stranger to the theatrical stage, but has long been estranged from it. The majority of his theatre background lies in his college days at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Louisiana Tech University after he was tricked into auditioning for Lysistrata at ULM and landed a role. From there, he went on to play such roles as Herman in Sweet Charity, Junior in Dearly Departed, the Writer in The Good Doctor and Ensemble work in Merrily We Roll Along and Big: The Musical. Andrew stepped away from the theatre for about eight years after school and is now stepping back in. He’s ecstatic to be able to perform in OpenStage’s Spamalot after such a long absence from theatre. When not on the stage, Andrew works as a full-time RN and is a member of the 101st Colorado Army National Guard Band. He’s an avid triathlete, karaoke enthusiast and full-time nerd.
