LOUISE F. THORNTON has worked throughout Northern Colorado as an actor and director. Recent roles include Superior Donuts (Lady Boyle), Unnecessary Farce (Mary Meekly), Over the River and Through the Woods (Aida Gianelli), Enchanted April (Mrs. Graves) and The Foreigner (Betty Meeks). One of her favorite roles was the title role in the one-woman show, Shirley Valentine. She also has performed in Picnic (Helen Potts), Is He Dead? (Madame Bathilde), Nickled and Dimed, Heart’s Desire, Cry Havoc, Rashomon, Same Time Next Year, Country Wife, Arsenic and Old Lace, You Know I Can’t Hear You When the Water’s Running, and many Children’s Theatre productions. Musicals include South Pacific, Oklahoma, Company, Carnival and Pirates of Penzance. "It has been fun to 'tell sad stories of my own mishaps.' Thanks, Ladies and Gentleman.
