LOUISE F. THORNTON is so excited to be performing musical theatre once again! She has fond memories of performing the role of Nellie Forbush in South Pacific and Ado Annie in Oklahoma, as well as Joanne in Company and Rosalie in Carnival. More recently, she was Betty Chumley in Harvey and Egeon, the father, in the all-female cast of The Comedy of Errors. Other fun roles include Lady Boyle in Superior Donuts, Mary Meekly in Unnecessary Farce, Aida Gianelli in Over the River and Through The Woods, Betty Meeks in The Foreigner, Helen Potts in Picnic and Madame Bathilde in Is He Dead? One of her favorite roles was that of Shirley Valentine in the one-woman play, Shirley Valentine. Louise has worked with many of the theatre groups in Northern Colorado, including C.S.U. Theatre, where she received her M.A. degree after adapting Requiem For a Heavyweight to the stage and directing a production of it. Many thanks to the talented cast and crew of The Full Monty for including me in this creative journey. My love and gratitude to George.
