WENDY S. MOORE has been directing for nearly forty years. She retired in 2005 as a high school principal and has been working since as a freelance director and actress throughout Colorado. Wendy directed OpenStage Theatre's productions of 39 Steps, Is He Dead?, Pride and Prejudice, Man of la Mancha and The Exonerated. Recent directing credits include Dancing Lessons (Lake Dillon Theatre Company), Freud’s Last Session (Thunder River Theatre Company), Fiddler on the Roof (Defiance Community Theatre), 16 Wounded (Sopris Theatre at CMC) and multiple productions of UnMarried in America, which received four major acting awards at 2013 AACT National Festival. Wendy and the rest of the family were named for a 2015 True West Award (The Mighty Moore Family). Wendy has received Best Director Awards seven times at the Colorado Theatre Festival and twice at the America Community Theatre Region VII competition. She was the Artistic Director of Backstage Theatre in Breckenridge for nine years, as well as the Resident Director of the Goldenrod Showboat in St. Louis. Life doesn't get much better than this.
