MAGGIE CUMMINGS started her intermittent connection with theatre portraying the second cow in a kindergarten production of the nativity story. Later work includes performances with Colorado State University Theatre, Fort Collins Children's Theatre and Foothills Civic Theatre. Maggie also has taken a turn behind the scenes in publicity, light and sound board operation, box office, set construction and make-up design for OpenStage Theatre and Foothills Civic Theatre. Her most recent appearance was as Margaret Fuller Slack in Bas Bleu Readers Theatre's production of Spoon River Anthology. She designed make-up for OpenStage Theatre extensively during the 1970s and 1980s and began designing with the Company again in 2009. Her most recent OpenStage Theatre designs include The Full Monty, Avenue Q, Frankenstein and And Then There Were None. She received the OpenStage OPUS Awards for Outstanding Hair Design for Is He Dead? and Outstanding MakeUp Design for Anon(ymous).
