We care about your safety and wellbeing. Please follow our health and safety protocols for indoor performances.

In order to protect the health of our artists and audience, we have implemented the following COVID-19 Safety Protocols, effective April 25, 2022, which are subject to change in accordance with CDC, state, and local recommendations. Please view the information below in order to properly prepare for your attendance at upcoming performances.

VACCINES

All COVID vaccine and COVID negative test mandates for audiences have been lifted. Patrons who are uncomfortable with this change should contact the Box Office to discuss their options, which include refunds or donating tickets back to the OpenStage Theatre & Company. We will continue to follow COVID cases and update our protocols if and when necessary.

MASKS

Masks will continue to be optional but strongly recommended, for our shows in the Lincoln Center Magnolia Theater and other indoor performances.

SICK POLICY
If you are unwell, please stay home. If you or a member of your party is experiencing symptoms similar to those of COVID-19 or have had known exposure to someone with COVID-19, please stay home.

  • EXCHANGES & REFUNDS
If you must miss a performance due to any of the above, please contact the Box Office before your show to exchange tickets or receive a refund .

COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR GUESTS
If you are the ticket purchaser, it is your responsibility to communicate OpenStage Theatre & Company’s vaccination and mask policy to others in your party. Approximately one to two days before your ticketed event, you will receive a Performance Reminder with up-to-date guidelines. Please forward this email to your guests so that they know what to expect before your visit.

All artists working with OpenStage in 2021-2022 are required to be vaccinated and are being tested weekly for COVID-19. Performers will be unmasked while onstage.

Theatre entry will take place 30 minutes before curtain. Please move swiftly to your seat and don’t linger unnecessarily in the lobby.

Stay in your seat unless using the restroom or enjoying refreshments in the lobby.

Seating capacity will be fully utilized. To limit exposure to individuals who are not in your immediate seating area, we encourage social distancing while waiting to enter or purchase concessions. Please note signage, performance reminder emails, and instructions from ushers and security personnel.

Air Filtration

  • Air quality improvements have been made throughout the The Lincoln Center.  The Lincoln Center has increased the frequency of their air exchange; currently, the HVAC system exchanges inside air with fresh outside air every 10 minutes.

Cleaning and Sanitation

  •  The latest in cleaning technology—an electrostatic sprayer—will be used to clean the facility. (This is the same type of product being used in medical facilities and by airlines to sanitize surfaces quickly, safely, and thoroughly.)
  •  Deep cleaning of all venue surfaces and spaces will take place daily.
  •  At a minimum of 1 time per day, The Lincoln Center facilities team will be sanitizing high traffic areas, restrooms and other significant touch points.
