In 1973, OpenStage Theatre & Company sprang up as a grassroots organization dedicated to exceptional live theatre that captivates the heart and mind. Over the past 50 years and over 350 productions, OpenStage Theatre has grown into a cornerstone of cultural development in Northern Colorado while remaining true to its origin. The magic of OpenStage Theatre is the people; the artists and the audience coming together for a transformative experience.
To ensure the quality of our artistic product and reach new heights, we have established the OpenStage Theatre & Company Endowment Fund with the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado to help facilitate another 50 years of high-quality productions including the best the world of theater has to offer; comedies, classics, musicals, and cutting-edge dramas. This requires a long-term vision and commitment. An endowed fund will invest gifts and return a sustainable distribution of the funds annually to support OpenStage Theatre’s operations, enhancing and accelerating our vision to be a successful regional arts producer that consistently delivers magical and transformative experiences to Fort Collins and Northern Colorado audiences in perpetuity.
