MORGAN TAYLOR is a native of Minden, Nebraska, who first appeared onstage in school productions in Phillipsburg and Agra, Kansas, in the 1970s. He has worked with companies as far away as Worms, Germany, with The Rhein Neckar Theater Company, and as small as Eddyville, Nebraska, a town of fewer than 100 people on the edge of the Nebraska Sandhills, with the Eddyville Community Players. He lived in Benedictine Monasteries as a postulant monk and is also a poet. Since first working with OpenStage in Season 29, Morgan has been a Stagehand, Carpenter, Board Operator, Stage Manager. He was also a writer and performer for Rabbit Hole Radio Theatre and storyteller with The Talespinner Lounge. This is his first appearance as an actor for OpenStage, and he wants to thank the director, Kate Austin-Groen, for the opportunity to stretch his sea legs onstage as a pirate.
