SUSAN ROGERS has worked onstage and behind-the-scenes in the Fort Collins theatre community. She has designed props for OpenStage Theatre and Fort Collins Children’s Theatre and has appeared in Fort Collins Children’s Theatre musicals and Opera Fort Collins productions. Most recently, Susan played Cogsworth in Fort Collins Children Theatre’s Beauty and the Beast. She composed incidental music for Reasons: The House Burned Down and OpenStage Theatre’s Stage Kiss, and designed props for The Three Musketeers, The Taming of the Shrew, The Servant of Two Masters, Beauty and the Beast and Seussical the Musical. Favorite roles include Mrs. Gloop in Willy Wonka, Bill Jukes in Peter Pan, Mole in Wind in the Willows and Mother Superior in The Sound of Music. Susan studied vocal performance at the University of Colorado and Colorado State University and teaches singing, performs in nursing homes, and sings vintage popular tunes with the Mont Alto Ragtime and Tango Orchestra, and with her dance band, The Exuberant Quartet. In the dark, cold months she’s an adaptive ski instructor. She lives in Old Town with her family, one cat and some chickens.
